#ANM2020 is now #ANM2020online
We’re going virtual this October!

Adapting to New Realities: Rebuilding for Social Change

How things have changed in our country since we first announced our 2020 conference back in January.

We were so excited to head to Denver. But current times call for new approaches, safety, and sensitivity to schedules and budgets.

And so we’ve shifted gears…

Introducing #ANM2020online

The dates are the same – October 5-7, 2020 – but the location has been updated to…well, everywhere!

We invite you to join us for an online version of our annual conference, Adapting to New Realities: Rebuilding for Social Change, a 3-day online event designed to help capacity builders from across the U.S. hone their skills and expand their abilities during crisis.

A #virtual – and needed – boost of energy & purpose

As our country continues to grapple with the impacts of the pandemic and racial injustice, the nonprofits and communities we work with seek new and innovative ways to respond to these challenges. Now more than ever we as capacity builders must learn to do more to help them. To organize better. And to partner to create real change.

So we invite you to join us at #ANM2020online to collectively design how we can work together to not only help our communities and nonprofits recover, but re-imagine a society where every one of them can thrive.

3 Days, 4 Info-Packed Workshop Blocks, 12 Dynamic Sessions

Adapting to New Realities: Rebuilding for Social Change will offer opportunities for new and seasoned capacity builders to explore how capacity building is evolving, especially now. The event will bring different perspectives and explore diverse ways of tackling problems that build our collective capacity for social change.

Conference highlights include:

  • 12 dynamic breakout sessions
  • Gather and learn with Alliance Communities of Practice
  • Keynote and other featured speakers
  • Themed hangout spaces for peer-to-peer conversations
  • Announcement of and special readings from the 2020 Terry McAdam Book Award
  • Some session recordings available for post-conference viewing, providing you with plenty of conference content

An array of informative, high-impact online sessions are being planned, and will be announced and shared here soon. If you’re a company, nonprofit, or foundation who would like to support this invigorating event, check sponsorship opportunities and benefits will soon post here

Member rates are $175 for the full conference, $235 for non-members, and if you want a 1-day pass, it'll run you $75 for members and $96 for non-members. After September 16, $100 will be added to these prices.

Stay tuned! More to come!
